Terms of service.

1. The Service

notapdf converts résumé content into a live portfolio website and an ATS-compatible PDF. You upload or paste your CV, pick a design, preview the result for free, and pay ₹599 one-time to publish it at a public URL.

2. Payment

The publish fee is a one-time charge of ₹599. We do not charge recurring fees. Payments are processed by Razorpay — we never see or store your card details. GST is included where applicable.

3. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy: full refund within 48 hours of payment, no questions asked.

4. Ownership of your content

You own your résumé content and the portfolio generated from it. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and serve it as part of delivering the Service, and to use anonymised previews (no personal data) in marketing materials. You can revoke this license at any time by emailing us to take the portfolio down.

5. Template designs

The 20 template designs are notapdf’s intellectual property. You may use them to display your own content via the Service, but you may not extract the HTML/CSS to use outside the Service for commercial purposes.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

• Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes another person’s rights
• Impersonate another person without consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Resell the Service as your own

We reserve the right to take down portfolios that violate these terms.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance and third-party outages (Vercel, Razorpay, Anthropic) may cause temporary disruption. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, notapdf’s total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim (typically ₹599). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Privacy

Your personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy, which complies with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email to active users. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
